Birthyourway is a space where I want to post about topics related to birth in todays society. More importantly, I want to challenge the ideas around birth with the ultimate outcome of putting birth back into the hands of the birthing woman. As a woman, a doula, a women's studies and psychology graduate, and a prospective midwifery student, I want to explore the issues around the birthing woman, medicalized childbirth and the journey into motherhood.
