It's been a bit of a challenge writting this blog about birth because, even though I am a student midwife, I am not around birth a whole big bunch these days...or for all of last year really. I the last twelve months, I have only attended 4 births. I think that is absolutely ridiculous, but then anyone who has read this blog in the past knows that already.

So, even though I don't have much to share about birth these days, there are a whole bunch of awesome places I've visited on the web these days. So I am going to list off a bunch of links to check out. I don't know blogging etiquette, but I am not going to ask permission to link to the pages I want to link to. If there is any reason I should ask permission, kindly say so! In no particular order:

This is a good list, so I'm glad that Empowering Birth Blog referred me here. I am new to the cesarean awareness "movement" since I am ttc again and am blogging my journey as well.

Good luck with your midwifery pursuits. I hope business picks up for you!

Hey you (and the people who read this awesome blog)!

It's Dawn! Yup! Dawn from school (first year midwifery student).

It's funny the way our two paths cross so indirectly. I'm doing my Professional Issues paper on none other than, "Medicalization of Midwifery". It's late and I've been doing research via academic journals all night. Just for fun I started looking for birth world blogs and through a strange web, I found you and knew it was you.

Anywho, I'm thinking of keeping my own blog about this special lifestyle of ours... I'll let you know!

Happy studying, girl... you're getting close!

    Love,
    Dawn
    xo
